What causes impacted wisdom teeth pain?

When you come in for wisdom teeth removal, we take an x-ray to decide the best way to handle the impacted teeth. Treatment can be anything from a small cut to help the tooth come through properly, to complete removal and treatment of any related issues.
Depending on your case, we offer a treatment plan that works for you. If your wisdom teeth need to be extracted, a simple case can be treated then and there, with a local anaesthetic. However, more complex cases of impacted wisdom teeth may require days of preparation.
